An easy guideline Dan:

20lb = 9.1kg
30lb = 13.6kg
40lb = 18.2kg

That'll do for the English.
Now for us continentals:

50lb = 22.6kg
60lb = 27.2kg
....

hahaha...weights are just numbers..
